Knowledge Plaza is a state-of-the-art knowledge sharing collaboration platform which provides an elegant balance between social bookmarking, document management, wikis and an internal social network. KP Communities allow specific flows of information to be diffused to a wider audience – either for internal communication or external communication purposes.

Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange

KP Enterprise allows information of any type (websites, documents, contacts, etc) to be bookmarked and organized. They are enriched and compiled within wikis that can represent a project or research theme. The resulting knowledge package can be exported in customizable pdf/word/html reports for external diffusion. KP Communities allow information professionals to act as information brokers by efficiently dispatching flows of information to dedicated client environments.

Social Networking and Expert Search

Expertise location is at the heart of any search and allows to identify related experts to any information context.

Personal Information Management

Knowledge Plaza can be used by individuals for their own personal information management. The online version is available as of 35eur/month to this purpose.

Project Management

Wikis can be used to this purpose, but Knowledge Plaza is not aimed at project management.

Operational Flexibility

Knowledge Plaza is used in many different contexts: either for transversal cross-company projects, in information professional groups (market research, competitive intelligence, etc.) or for information brokers (e.g. associations that diffuse information to their members).

Customization & Extensibility

Plugins can be developed for both input (e.g. connecting to existing databases, shared drives, SharePoint, etc.) and output purposes (customized newsletters, etc).

Data & Security

    Yes it's social but not like the other products on here...let me explain... We went with Knowledge Plaza because it's a solid business tool with social layers added on for the benefit of the core selling point, information management. Other tools generally start with the social then add on business functionality.

    We eat our own dogfood and internally KP does a great job for information sharing amongst 15 people.
